SAWDF has successfully completed the training program with the participation of 303 women entrepreneurs. The training program was targeted at 300 women entrepreneurs (registered SMEs) with access to information and communication technology and aims to empower Nepalese women entrepreneurs and equip them with the right skills for their business growth through the digitalization of their small and medium-sized businesses.
A total of ten training sessions were held : 6 training sessions in Kathmandu, 2 training sessions in Pokhara and similarly two sessions in Chitwan.
The Ministry of Information and Communications, Government of Nepal, attended the event as the chief guest on the first day and delivered a special address. Mr. Robert De Jesus, Programme Officer, Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT), UNESCAP, Bangkok attended the event virtually and delivered a special remark.
