SAWDF, the apex body of women entrepreneurs’ chambers, federations, and national associations at the national and regional levels, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its member organizations — WEAN Chapter, Lalitpur, (on February 17, 206) and Manushi (on February 20, 2026)— to implement a six-month project titled “Advocating for Change: Women’s Economic Empowerment through Collective Action.”The MoU was signed by Ms. Pramila Acharya Rijal, Founder President of SAWDF, together with Ms. Rekha Aryal, President of WEAN, and Ms. Padmasana Shakya, Chairperson of Manushi.
On this occasion, cheques were also handed over to WEAN and Manushi under SAWDF’s FAME Project. The event brought together board members and general members from all three organizations, united in their commitment to strengthening women’s economic empowerment and promoting inclusive policies.
