SAWDF President Ms. Pramila Acharya Rijal attended the Eighth Subregional Forum on Sustainable Development, hosted by ESCAP for South and South-West Asia and the Government of India. The forum aimed to promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the region through cooperative strategies and policy discussions.
Ms. Rijal served as the moderator for the session "Addressing the Digital Divide for Women in South and South-West Asia," joined by panelist Dr. Mariyam Shakeela, Vice President of the SAWDF Chapter in the Maldives. Additionally, Ms. Rijal participated as a panelist in the session "Climate Change and Carbon Regulations – Way Forward for South and South-West Asia.
