The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT), in collaboration with the South Asian Women Development Forum (SAWDF), successfully organized the “WIFI DX Training on Empowering Women Entrepreneurs through Digital Transformation” from 19–21 August 2025 at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu, Nepal.
The three-day training aimed to strengthen the digital capacities of women entrepreneurs by enhancing their knowledge and practical skills in key areas, including:
- E-commerce and Digital Marketing
-Trust and Security in Using Digital Technologies
- Business Continuity Planning
The programme brought together 45 participants, representing women entrepreneurs from diverse sectors. The event was graced by Mr. Jitendra Basnet, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Government of Nepal, who attended as the Chief Guest. Through this initiative, APCICT seeks to empower women entrepreneurs in Nepal to effectively navigate the digital economy, expand their market reach, and unlock new opportunities for sustainable business growth.
