Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) celebrated its 7th Foundation Day on the 19th and 20th of March 2019. The observance of the day was themed around “Sustaining Innovation- A market Driven Pathway”. The program was graced by all working counterparts of SAWDF. The SAWDF team visited the National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute in Mohali (near Chandigarh) set up by the Department of Biotechnology.
A delegation of women entrepreneurs representing SAWDF, also visited the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Kundli in the Sonepat District of Haryana.
The SAWDF team also had a round table meeting with the Secretary of the Bio-Technology Ministry, Dr. Renu Swarup.
