Since its foundation in 2008, the GreenTec Awards have become the most important environmental award worldwide. On May 13, 2018, the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEAP-India), SAWDF Chapter India, was awarded by Veolia of the GreenTec Awards-2018, in recognition of the Best Agency in the area of “Entrepreneurs tackle waste”, in Munich, Germany. They have accomplished to win the first prize among 138 nominated countries, in the category of Resources & Recycling.
